TAKAYUKI HIROSE
Takayuki Hirose co-founded AIC Tokyo Inc. in 2009, which is a joint-venture firm of Axis Singapore. He is a registered Japanese patent attorney with more than ten years of practical IP experience.
He brings to Axis vast international IP expertise. Having been practicing mainly in Japan, Takayuki has a wealth of experience in Japanese patent practice. During his more than ten years in IP practice, he has handled hundreds of patent drafting, prosecution, and litigation cases from expansive technical fields, including information and communication technology, physical chemistry, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices.
Takayuki has had both corporate and law firm stints as a Japanese patent attorney. In addition, he has worked very closely with industry, serving as counsel for leading technology companies such as Digital Media Profession, Inc., Tokyo great Visual, Inc., EBS, Inc., Neo-Morgan, Inc., Aqumen Biopharmaceuticals, and Digital Sky, Inc.
He is also a member of Supreme Court of Japan, where he serves as an advisor on technical and legal issues in relation to IP at the Intellectual Property High Court and at the Tokyo district court. Takayuki has also served as an associate professor of intellectual property law at Tokyo Legal-mind University and a visiting assistant professor of intellectual property law at the Shibaura Industrial University, Tokyo. In addition, he is an author of numerous texts on intellectual property law and patent litigation.
