DR. ITTIPON TECHAKRIENGKRAI
Dr. Ittipon Techakriengkrai is a Lecturer at Department of Food Technology, Ramkhamhaeng University. He is also a Vice Director at the Institute of Health Science, where he is in charge of Academic and Research Affairs.
Dr. Techakriengkrai spent 5 years (2000 - 2004) during his M.Sc. and Ph.D. research on brewing technology and sensory evaluation of lager beers, collaborating with Scottish Courage Brewing Ltd. (became part of Heineken N.V. (Netherlands), from April 2008). His roles within his current post (2005 to present) include academic, research and development, sensory and analytical method development, and quality assurance. His research interests include fermentation and chromatographic processes which involving multivariate data, mathematical model, and data interpretation via human-computer interactions. He has co-authored internationally 10 papers, 1 book chapter, and 5 conference papers.
Apart from his academic roles, Dr. Techakriengkrai also has many collaborated projects with the Food and Drug Administration (Thailand) focusing on regulations on Food Additives, Flavouring Agents, and Food Supplements. He is also a committee in several FDA meetings.
