FIONA SNG

Fiona graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Science (with Merit), majoring in Life Sciences.

She participated in the NUS Overseas Colleges Program in which she undertook studies in Entrepreneurship and Business at the University of Pennsylvania. The program also included a year-long internship stint at a medical device start-up, in Philadelphia, USA. In her last year in university, she was involved in a research project at the Department of Microbiology in NUS on the regulation of TLR-signaling in MAP kinase phosphatase (MKP)-3.

Prior to joining Axis, she served a training stint at the technology transfer office of a local institution, where she worked on patentability analyses as well as patent landscaping for emerging technologies, and also received training in the basics of technology commercialisation, licensing and project management.

In Axis, Fiona currently handles the prosecution of patent and design applications, as well as patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses.
